DJ Premier partnered with Stephen Webber, a professor and conductor at the
Berklee College of Music, who taught him how to conduct the 58-piece
Berklee Symphony Orchestra you hear on the track. The one you hear is the
"wild" version (recorded without the metronome in their headphones)
DJ Premier conducted himself. Then he brought the instrumental back home to NY
and Nas laid down his rhyme on top of it.

The legendary Roots crew take hiphop to new heights with their upcoming concept album, undun.
Each song documents the ill-fated story of the character, Redford Stephens. Four video installments will be dropped leading to the December 6 release. Here are the first two:
undun is an existential re-telling of the short life of one Redford Stephens (1974-1999). Through the use of emotives and Redford's internal dialogues the album seeks to illustrate the intersection of free will and prescribed destiny as it plays out 'on the corner'. Utilizing a reverse narrative arc, the album begins as the listener finds Redford disoriented--postmortem--and attempting to make sense of his former life. As he moves through its pivotal moments he begins to deconstruct all that has led to his (and our own) coming undun.
