20 Classic Hip Hop Album Covers Recreated in LEGO

Welcome to another humpity-hump day folks...

Now that we're running on the album timeline, one of the items for major consideration (as with any other artist/group out there) is the ALBUM COVER.

Many iconic albums have been defined and remembered by their cover. Even artists have been scrutinized for that single image that sticks out at you from any rack or digital playlist. And sometimes (although sad), the cover art is the only thing people will remember from your album.

Personally, one of my favorites will always be Tribe's "Midnight Marauders" album art, which shows an entertaining headshot collection of early ’90s hip-hop. Featuring the hiphop pioneers of the time, the cover art and booklet paid homage to a defining age, while the album itself brought it to the next level.

Digital artworks, paintings, logos, illustrations, modern art, photographs, typography, and all other versions or combinations of such have all been used and seen in the millions of albums out there. Each one visually trying to claw its way to be noticed, to be unique, and to be remembered. But above all, each one (the good ones at least) trying to stand for something.

So I guess the question for us, and by "us" i mean you as an individual too and not just for MISC, is this:

What would YOUR album cover be?

Sorry for the long preamble, but anyway....on to the subject of this blog:
