tune in: mad men make music

It has been said that there is a fine line between genius and insanity.

After taking a look at these insanely intuitive notations, I believe there is some truth to that statement.

Can you play these? (click on the pic to enlarge):

"Faerie's Aire And Death Waltz" by John Stump.

 -------------------------------------------------

"String Quartet No. 556(b) for Strings In A Minor (Motoring Accident)"

  -------------------------------------------------

Atushi Ojisama and Ijigen Waltz
  -------------------------------------------------

"Lament of the Introspective Turnbuckle" by Andrew Fielding
-------------------------------------------------

"Pavane of the Reconstituted Visigoth"s by Andrew Fielding
 (check out the disclaimer)
 -------------------------------------------------

Nikos Skalkottas "Four Etudes [No.2](1941)
-------------------------------------------------
If you have managed to get through this far, you will have realized that not all of these are actually playable.  These musical scripts fall under the realm of what their authors label "imaginary music", although some very enterprising musicians have actually tried to play these pieces.

I, for one, will not even attempt to play these.  Notation is confusing enough as it is.

And away we go.
